Nominate a Literacy Champion by

Do you know an individual, business, or community organization that goes above and beyond to support adult literacy in Nova Scotia? We're looking for nominees who demonstrate a sustained commitment to helping others gain the skills they need to succeed. Nominations will be accepted until May 15, 2026.

Who is a Literacy Champion?

We are looking for champions who show that "Literacy: It’s Everybody’s Business". This could be someone who:

• Has created a literacy program in their workplace.
• Consistently advocates for literacy funding and awareness.
• Has engaged non-traditional sectors, such as business, health, or economic development, to support adult learning.

The winner will be recognized at our Spring Dinner & Auction for Literacy on May 28, 2026, in Dartmouth. This is a prestigious opportunity to highlight the incredible impact they have made on our province.
